At Safe2Thrive Consulting, we are dedicated to providing training, support, and mentorship for child protection, child rights, child rights-based programming & advocacy, young people-led research & monitoring, and policy development. Our goal is to empower professionals and organizations to create safe environments for children and promote their rights.

About me
My name is Kudakwashe Muhlanga and I am your Lead Consultant.
Kudakwashe Muhlanga is a child rights enthusiast who values community, collectivism, responsibility, respect, and responsiveness. She prepares and upskills individuals and groups to positively impact children and young people's lives.
Kudakwashe considers herself a community leader and a changemaker at the forefront of disrupting social norms and cultures that neglect, abuse, and underestimate children while also disregarding their entitlements.
Her training model adopts transformational approaches and is known to invite individual reflection and provoke action. For organizations, everything is tailored to meet their needs and respond to concerns & gaps specific to their operating environment.
When it comes to safeguarding children, Kudakwashe believes that promoting children's agency is key and that our engagement and inclusion of children in different programs and interventions must be intentional and inclusive.
Kudakwashe's education includes a Master of Science in Child Sensitive Social Policies as well as online certifications in civic engagement, child safeguarding, child development, and human rights.
Her favorite past time is gardening and she also spends time volunteering with community programs like the We Educate Community Initiative - which provides educational support to orphaned and vulnerable children

The training packages ensure you are conversant about child safeguarding issues. They are designed for you to learn the concepts and vocabulary you need. Even if child protection is not your organization's core focus area, this training will guarantee the skills and ideas that can be applied to your work to ensure that you do no harm.

This package is ideally suited for child-serving or child-focused organizations. It also includes staff competence assessments for your team members when working with children, organizational assessments, and extensive pre-and post-training assessments.

This package is for organizations interested in developing safeguarding or child protection policies. It also offers assistance with designing & developing research studies for and with children & young people.
